Edelweiss Lodge and Resort and Riessersee Hotel

before entering Germany, we passed through Austria. didn't really see much except the snow on the mountains reflecting off the moon.
  arrived at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort, Germany, military base. it was/is used as a mid-way meeting spot for soldiers and their families who are stationed in other countries.

after unpacking, we picked who was in which bed. i don't mind the couch so i picked the couch. turns out it was a pull out bed so i ended up sleeping on a bed all to myself =]
  
  
breakfast buffet. the bacon made me sad since it wasn't crunchy or fatty. it was just stale-ish. everything else was pretty good. i drenched everything in maple syrup. =]

after breakfast we decided to sleep again. talk about having an unusual sleeping pattern…

went on base to gather some essentials (umbrella & snacks). it was pretty cold being up in those mountains. then we headed to Neuschwanstein Castle.

after another day of exploring, this time it was after Lermoos. everyone napped except lulu and i. we went and explored the hotel some more. and took pics bc we were bored
6pm - carriage tour of Garmisch
pretty much went to the downtown area where we explored earlier that day. it was cool bc we were on a horse and carriage. haha
 
Riessersee Hotel
we had some downtime before dinner so we went to the sister hotel of Edelweiss, the Riessersee Hotel. it was nice and they had a lake. basically if Edelweiss is full, they house everyone else at Riessersee.
