The first Samul Nori show this year was held outdoors! This was a first for me considering I've been to at least 10+ shows. It was a nice change and the weather was perfect. The only downside was the location. It took us about 30mins by bus to get to the park. I don't remember the name but it's near the Cheongju airport in Ochang. 
While waiting for the show to start, I was creeping on this cute little baby. So chubby! The show started with a huge opening. There were a lot of students playing and it made me wish I was playing as well...
There was the regular performances by the CNori group. The guitar and janggu performance. The two girls singing was new.
There was a flag performance that signified the joining of Cheongju (blue) and Cheongwon (white). I don't know what the green flag said but it prolly said something like "one Cheongju" or something.
There was a lion(?) dance (1st photo above) and the best mashup was the Samul Nori and bboys performing together. My camera battery was super low so I wasn't able to take as many photos and videos. But the Samul Nori and bboys were amazing! They even had a dance off! If only they were part of the regular shows!
