The main reason why I went back home to visit 6 months after I left for
Korea was because my sister was getting married. While all my friends were
vacationing parts of southeast Asia, I was flying back to the states. After staying a few days in Cali, my family and I flew to North Carolina where my sister currently lives.
We met Derrick's family and also my new nephew, Landon.
Saw Max and Roxy again. I missed Max. He's so playful and not at all
what he looks like. Too bad he's grown so much since I last saw him in Italy
when he was just a pup.
At the rehearsal luncheon we met some of Kat and Derricks' friends. Joe and Suki and their adorably cute 3 kids and grandma. Veronica and Randall.
Picking up last minute things. Lu got stuck in the back with all the nice smelling flowers.
Getting ready and all that stuff.
The wedding ceremony was pretty nice. Short and sweet and just the closest of friends and family.
The reception was nice. Don't remember too much of it since I was running around a bit. I think I was nervous about my speech. I can teach a class full of high school boys but I get nervous in front of family members....
