We didn't have any plans for the day so Reece and I decided to check out the wall climbing around the corner from our hostel. It was pretty cool looking. We were just going to go look but we got excited and decided to actually do it. We went back to the hostel, I changed and Reece got his shoes and chalk. We got there 2 hours before the closed so we didn't get to climb as much but it was enough for me. It cost 430 Nepalese Rupee which is less than $5. I had to rent shoes and they were around 150 NPR.

We were trying to get to the gecko but we failed. It was really hard because there were a lot of missing numbs and one of them moved. I couldn't reach some of the nubs so I just kept falling at the same place.

After a few minutes of climbing and resting, we ended up just watching this couple attempt the high wall with the harness. They were pro and came over to the wall we were on afterwards.
The couple are from Barcelona and they were so good! They taught us this game were you pick 2 hand moves and the person after you has to follow the path. You can only grab on the nubs that the person before you picked. You can put your feet where ever. So each person gets to choose 2 hand holds and the next person starts from the beginning and follows the path. Its a good repetitive game and gets you super tired. There was a point where I basically gave up for a few minutes and just watched. My forearms were super sore and I could barely grab hold or anything. Some of the nubs were only big enough for your fingers to go through and those made it difficult for me to close my hands afterwards. Eventually I got back to the game and actually made it farther than Reece! haha But some of those moves were too far for me to reach and at one point I had to do a little jump to even get my foot on a hold. It was so much fun.
Later that night and the next day my entire arm and upper back were so sore! Reece, Conor and Kelsy went the next day. I wanted to go as well but I had to catch my flight out of Nepal.
