Chuseok is the equivalent to Thanksgiving except it lasts about 3 days and occurs during the fall equinox. Since this was our first Chuseok, Amanda, Lea and I decided to celebrate it together. It would also be the first time that we were together since orientation. We met in Seoul and did some shopping and street food eating.

Then we headed back to Cheongju and went to the Cat Cafe. It's basically Korea's answer to the crazy cat lady. You go in and pay a standard fee which pays for a drink and a croissant and playtime with the cats. The place was fairly clean and the only thing you had to watch out for was the food. The cats tend to try to lick your drink or eat your croissant. The cats can go anywhere since your a guest in their home.

For dinner we went back to my officetel and tried to make our own thanksgiving dinner. It was a pretty sad dinner, food wise, but the company was awesome.
