Coming to Korea, I never thought I'd meet so many South Africans. I was invited, by my friends who live in Jincheon, to this thing called a Braai and to Americans, it's just a BBQ. Still, it was fun listening to the Afrikaans being spoken and the different foods that were present. Not to mention, there was some traditional(?) South African dancing.
The word braai is Afrikaans for "barbecue or "grill" and is a social custom in South Africa.
