The Martial Arts Festival in Chungju was a provincial field trip. We were told that this would be the last provincial field trip since they were cutting the budget. I thought I was going to see all sorts of martial arts but we were only able to see taekwondo and karate. It was because we arrived at the festival too early and we didnt stay long enough.

There were other events taking place all around the vicinity. They had a series of obstacle courses, some taekwondo shows and there was also some filming for a tv show or movie.

There was this random vegetable bridge. It was really out of the ordinary but I'm sure there was a purpose for it, we just couldnt understand the korean.

There was a giant suckling pig and it made me think of lechon...

Halfway through the event, my nose decided to fail on me. I was nonstop sneezing to the point where I looked like I had been crying. Chungju is a city but its out in the country. It must have been all the hay that was around since there were horses nearby. Either way, I was not a happy camper and was glad to head back to the bus. This photo was taken before the sneezing attack when I was enjoying my coconut drink.
