The Andong Maskdance Festival was a far place to visit. Its in the Gyeongsanbuk province tucked away in the country. Luckily they had the super nice buses traveling to and from the major cities so it wasn't too bad. The only bad thing was the lack of a bathroom stop.

We saw a lot of performances comprising of Korea’s traditional mask dances along with other folk cultures from around the world. No matter where you went, there was some sort of mask dance happening, mask dance competition and mask dance lessons.
The Maskdance Festival has over 50 events and hands-on experience programs including the National & International Mask Dance Performance, World Mask Competition, original mask performance, mask dance learning, Madang play, original puppet play, world mask exhibition, mask making and more.

There was so much to see and so much to do that we eventually just found some beer and decided to just walk around and looking at everything very slowly. We didn't participate in any competitions or take part in any mask dances.
